Twerking gone wrong, but actually just a hoax. In this case, a girls leg was caught on fire as she fell from the door where she was twerking. The twerking hoax video was created by television host, Jimmy Kimmel and the twerker(stuntwoman), Daphne Avalon. "Twerking" being the newest trend, has caused over 9 million views on the internet. The video itself was not advertised what so ever and was put on YouTube. The video is titled "Worst Twerk Fail Ever- Girl Catches on Fire!". In six days the video went viral and had 9 million views, and was even reported in news broadcasts.
I think Jimmy Kimmel created this video due to the latest mainstream trend, "twerking". According to wikipedia, "twerking" is a type of dance move, where the dancer, shakes her hips in an up-and-down motion, causing the dancer's buttocks to shake, wobble, and jiggle. Many of the comments on YouTube have put Miley Cyrus to blame, due to her performance at the VMAS's recently. Jimmy Kimmel even jokingly states he wants to put an end to twerking forever.
In my opinion, I think that Jimmy Kimmel was trying to reveal about YouTube and society,that viewers are gullible and will believe whatever they see. We seem to care about media/the internet rather than whats really happening in the world. As well, not everything found on the internet can be true.
